Update on my SR

Wow, time flies! Was traveling the Rockies end of August to early September; I'll shoot some video tonight.

Here are a few photos taken on Sept. 16, 2010. Single 4 foot nan light and Nikon D60 flash used. I will try and upload some video soon.

I am happy with the fish. It shows great colour and body shape. It only eats SW, but so be it. Minor drop eye on its left side, seems stable. I noticed this potential day one, even when looking at the photos before the fish shipped. I worry a bit that a pure SW diet will lead to greater DE in future, but then that is just a theory. I am done trying to starve this fish into eating MP or pellets. I have seen cases of Big Eye due to stunting before, and that is not what I want to happen to this fish. This fish is still just a baby at 16-17 inches.

I think this fish is pretty representative of a quality Indored; I am sure you can see how it differs in body shape and colour from the Singapore bred SR's on the market.
