Beautiful fish! I lost my 24" Black Shark Catfish last week, yours looks very healthy. At least my 20" Clown Knife can have some peace, the catfish was pretty aggressive. But I do sometimes think about trying a snake head. Good luck with your sale of a fantastic fish!

When I had more rays I used to do water change 2-3 times a week. That was for a cycled 320 gallon tank with a 50 gallon sump with pot scrubbers, 2 rena xp3's and an UltimaII 1000 pond filter rated for 1000g. I would recommend a 50% water change every second day, with prime water...

Thanks guys. I don't know if it was old age or he took a hit from the other three pbass. There is also a black shark and clown knife that are larger than he was at about 24". The ck seems pretty mellow but the catfish can get kind of ignorant at times. Hopefully this is an isolated case.

I haven't used the ice cap fans but I have used a cheaper brand. I used two of them, one to draw in cool air and the other to force the warm air out.

Wow, does no one like pbass besides us? Maybe they can't afford to feed them. If they were closer I'd be interested; I hope your luck improves.

My dynamic red only eats sw and very rarely pellets, the spoiled thing. I hope I don't have this problem as well since the diet for my aro is not very varied. I used to soak the sw in liquid vitamins overnight, I think I will start doing that again. It wouldn't hurt to boost the aros immunity.
