generally will not heal properly. try to feed high protein diet and see if growth will increase. but from experience it wont heal perfectly. now he neeeds to pray that his aro will compensate with really good colors
use tweezers/chop sticks, hold a piece of shrimp 1 inch above the water, ur aro will jump up to snatch it without knowing what it is (its just their instinct to jump for anything above the water line). this may allow it to see shrimp as a food source.
another method, get tankmates who'll...
depends how it was ripped..
if it is ripped between the rays then it will heal no problem within days.
if its ripped on the rays, then nope, it will heal a little but the end result will not make u happy.
i dont have a 180...
i live on the top floors of a 21 floor apartment n have 2 75 gal side by side. so 150 should be fine.. keep it in a corner tho as thats where the most support is.
nope not just lighting, basically their whole environment. genes is prob the #1 factor. no matter how well u groom ur aro, the majority of how itll look like is due to the genes.
most would consider it as blue shade. but then theres only a small diff. between green blue n purple shades. sometimes depend on lighting n environment as it could affect the shine to diff. colors
